The tree is vigorous, reaching 15 meters or more in height. The crown is powerful, funnel-shaped with branches directed steeply upwards. The variety is characterized by high longevity; trees can live up to 200 years. It possesses good adaptation to low mountain ranges and heavy, moist soils, as well as high resistance to diseases.
Fruits are small or medium-sized, 6–9 cm in length. The skin is greenish, turning yellow upon ripening, often with a reddish blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, slightly granular, moderately juicy, with a sweet and aromatic taste with spicy notes. The variety is prone to biennial bearing with yield ranging from medium to high.
The harvest is ready for picking from the end of August to the beginning of September. The consumption period is short, lasting 2–3 weeks after harvest.
