The tree is vigorous, long-lived, and forms a large, broadly rounded or pyramidal crown. It enters fruiting 5–8 years after planting. The variety is distinguished by high frost resistance and the ability to grow in various soil types and on elevated sites. It is resistant to diseases, with medium susceptibility to scab.
The fruits are small, weighing 40–75 g, egg-shaped or short-pear-shaped, with golden-green skin and a reddish blush. The flesh is whitish-yellow and buttery. They ripen in the second half of August. They are used fresh, as well as for drying, and the production of jams, marmalades, compotes, and musts.
