The variety belongs to summer types of Pyrus domestica. The fruits are characterized by a small to medium size, a smooth surface, and a shape that tapers toward the stalk, often taking on a bottle-like appearance.
The variety is adapted for cultivation in elevated and mountainous regions. According to research results, the pear exhibits moderate susceptibility to bacterial shoot blight and high susceptibility to blossom infection by Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae.
Currently, the variety is preserved primarily as part of fruit crop genetic resource collections and is used in historical gardens.
