The Williams Bon Chrétien (also known as Bartlett) tree is hardy but requires health monitoring. The plant has high yield, which can cause branches to break under the weight of the fruit, therefore thinning of the ovaries is recommended.

Fruits ripen from mid-August to the end of September. The variety is considered universal: besides fresh consumption, it is highly valued in culinary arts for its taste qualities and is suitable for preparing desserts and alcoholic beverages due to its high sugar content.
