The fruits have thin, non-orange skin, with a dark red color appearing on the side facing the sun. The whitish flesh is distinguished by its firmness, crunchy consistency, and juiciness, and possesses a medium texture. The seeds are small, elongated-oval, and white. The stalk is long, of medium thickness, and straight or slightly curved.
The variety is early-maturing, with fruit ripening occurring in the third decade of July. The flesh is prone to medium or high intensity oxidation. It belongs to old local varieties of folk selection, which are of interest for the conservation of agrobiodiversity.
