The tree has medium vigor and an open canopy type, with a mid-season flowering period. The fruits are categorized as traditional and are recommended for fresh consumption when the skin color changes from green to yellow. The fruit flesh has a creamy hue.

The variety is the result of traditional selection and developed historically in the foothill areas of the Belluno province. Currently, the plant is considered an object for the restoration and enhancement of Italian fruit genetic resources.
