The name Tacca n'zuso denotes a local form of pear that is not a product of modern breeding and does not have the status of a commercial variety in the agronomic sense. It is included in the agrobiological heritage of Italy as an old landrace.
In open publications, there are no detailed morphological descriptions, data on maturity periods, or disease resistance, as such forms are studied primarily within the framework of biodiversity conservation projects. Traditionally, these plants were used in family farms for local consumption or as rootstock.
