Variety description

10 August 2026

The Supertino tree is characterized by medium vigor and an upright branch habit; flowering is of the intermediate type. Fruits are medium-sized and short pyriform in shape. The skin is yellow with red tints, and the surface is covered with russeting and small lenticels.

The fruit flesh is white, crisp, and of medium juiciness. The variety ripens in autumn and is characterized by high yield. In local horticulture, the fruits are often used for pear cider production in blends with other varieties, such as Kaiser, Madernassa, and Ciat.
