Variety description

10 August 2026

The pear variety Superbia, also known under the name Superior, is a breeding form developed in Geisenheim. The genetic origin of the variety is linked to the crossing of the varieties Williams Christ and Vereinsdechantsbirne.

In specialized pomological sources, the variety is considered a fruit crop for dessert use. Detailed morphological descriptions, data on disease resistance, and agrotechnical parameters are practically absent in open publications.
