The tree of this variety is medium-sized, forming a harmonious pyramidal crown; when grafted on quince, growth becomes weak. The variety is undemanding to soil composition, but develops better in warm locations, demonstrating high resistance to diseases, pests, and adverse weather conditions during the flowering period.

The fruits are small or medium-sized, smooth, yellow-green in color with a speckled red blush. The flesh is distinguished by sweetness, juiciness, and a pronounced spicy aroma with notes of cinnamon. The storage life of the fruits after harvest is limited to 8–10 days.

The variety has a universal purpose: it is consumed fresh, used for drying, canning, and the production of fruit brandy. Historically, dried fruits were a key ingredient of the traditional Hutzelbrot bread.
