Variety description

10 August 2026

The trees are characterized by vigorous growth, forming a strong and densely branched crown. The variety is distinguished by high hardiness and the ability to grow in harsh climatic conditions. The onset of fruiting occurs late, however, adult specimens are capable of producing high and regular yields for more than 200 years.

The fruits are small in size, having a conical or almost spherical shape. At harvest, the skin is greenish-yellow; upon full ripening, it acquires a dark yellow color with a possible blush and russeting. The flesh is firm, juicy, coarse-grained, with a tart taste and a high sugar and acid content.

The variety is classified as late: harvesting begins from the middle or end of October. The fruits are suitable for use after short-term storage. The primary purpose is industrial processing, production of pear wine and fruit brandy.
