The tree is medium-sized, forming a wide pyramidal crown of moderate density. When using quince rootstock, the crown becomes sparse and often does not require pruning. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and immunity to major pests and fungal diseases.
Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in the second half of October to the beginning of November. The fruits have an elongated pear shape and large size: the average mass is 260–280 g, individual specimens reach 330–500 g. The skin is thick and dry, colored in grayish-green or greenish-yellow with russeting.
The fruit flesh is creamy, juicy, buttery or semi-buttery, possesses a sweet taste and a light almond aroma. The variety is intended for industrial cultivation and long-term storage; the fruits are most often consumed fresh.
