The «Starkrimson» variety is a tall tree 3–5 meters in height with a spreading pyramidal crown of medium density. The variety is a summer type; harvest maturity occurs in late July or August. It enters the fruiting stage 4–5 years after planting.
The fruits are pear-shaped with an average weight of 180–240 g, reaching 300 g in individual cases. The white flesh has a sweet-and-sour taste and a pronounced muscat aroma. The fruits are prone to shedding and have a short shelf life of about 1 month, during which loss of texture to a mealy state is possible.
The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators such as «Любимица Клаппа», «Вильямс», «Бере Боск» or «Лесная красавица». The fruits have a universal purpose, being suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing.
