The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of about 5 meters, with a crown prone to upright growth. The variety is self-infertile or partially self-fertile and requires pollinator trees to produce a crop. It exhibits high adaptability to low temperatures, down to zone 3 of frost resistance.

The fruits are medium to large in size, have a classic pear shape and a rich crimson skin color. The flesh is white, juicy and sweet. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption; the fruits have a short shelf life.

The variety has high susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew and fruit rot.
