Variety description

10 August 2026

The SPINA CARPI tree has high vigor and is characterized as hardy and moderately productive. It is a late-maturing variety, with the harvest taking place in September-October.

The medium-sized fruits have light green skin that turns yellow upon ripening, with numerous lenticels and russet patches. The flesh is white-yellow, juicy, and granular, with a pronounced aroma. The fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and various types of culinary processing.

An important biological characteristic of the variety is its moderate resistance or low susceptibility to damage by the pear psylla, which is of interest for breeding programs.
