The fruits of the variety are large, round in shape, with golden-green skin, often having a pink-red blush. The fruit flesh has an oily texture, is juicy, sweet and aromatic, suitable for fresh consumption and canning.

The trees possess high vigor; the height depends on the rootstock type. The variety is self-infertile and requires the presence of another pollinator variety blooming in a similar period. The crop is distinguished by good resistance to fire blight and is grown predominantly in home gardens.
