The traditional variety Saint Rémy is a vigorous tree, reaching 8–12 meters. The fruits are medium to large in size, green-yellow in color, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is white, firm, and turns pink upon heat treatment. The variety is characterized by high keeping quality and is used for baking, canning, and perry production.
The columnar form of the pear Sanremi is distinguished by its compactness: the tree height does not exceed 1.8–2 meters. The fruits are large, weighing 250–400 g, pear-shaped or round-pear-shaped, and green-yellow. The variety is precocious, of autumn maturity, with juicy sweet flesh, and is resistant to major diseases, drought, and frost.
