The variety is a mutation of "Précoce de Trévoux" and is cultivated primarily in the Netherlands. The table-use fruits are characterized by a short shelf life; it is recommended to harvest them in August or early September while still green.
The plant belongs to productive summer varieties. The tree is not self-fertile; Beurré Hardy, Conference, Doyenné du Comice, Legipont, and Charneux are suitable for cross-pollination. The variety is relatively easy to train and prune.
