ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is an old local type that is maintained in collections to preserve the genetic pool. In agronomic sources, the variety is mentioned as a research subject and is presumably identical to the "Pstružka" variety.
Recommended for cultivation in areas at an altitude of up to 350 meters above sea level. The variety is highly susceptible to fire blight (Erwinia amylovora).
This variety was used as a parent form in the breeding of modern pear varieties. At present, it is primarily of interest as an object for the conservation of cultural and genetic heritage.
