The tree has medium to strong growth vigor. At a young age, the crown has a pyramidal shape with upward-directed branches, which eventually become pendulous under the weight of the fruits. The variety is demanding of growing conditions, preferring warm sites protected from winds.
Fruits have a broad barrel-like or round-pyriform shape and dense yellowish-green skin with russeting. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy and melting, possessing a sweet taste with a slight acidity and a muscat aroma. Harvesting is carried out in October; fruits retain their consumer qualities until spring.
The variety is self-incompatible. For cross-pollination, the varieties Williams, Bosc, Hardy, Beurré Giffard and Németh Kálmán are recommended. Resistance to fungal diseases and scab is medium.
