CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is local to the southeastern part of the Bari province, Italy. The fruits are medium or small in size with a weight of 40–60 g, and possess a calabash-shaped, slightly asymmetrical form with the maximum diameter closer to the calyx.
The fruit skin is smooth, colored green-yellow with a red blush on the side exposed to the sun. The pedicel has a practically absent cavity, the calyx basin is narrow and shallow, and the sepals are separate. The variety should be distinguished from the «Ambrosina» pear.
