ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous and fast-growing, with a narrow-pyramidal crown when young, which becomes broadly pyramidal and of medium density in mature specimens. Scaffold branches are arranged compactly at an acute angle to the trunk. Shoots are straight, of medium length and thickness, dark brown with a cherry hue. Leaves are large, elongated, dark green, and glossy.
Fruits are rounded, symmetrical, with smooth, matte, dry skin. At harvest maturity, the color is golden-yellow, sometimes with a pink blush and small grey subcutaneous dots. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy, melting, with a sweet-and-sour taste and spicy notes. Average fruit weight is 160 g, with a maximum reaching 300 g.
The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, annual bearing, and partial self-fertility. It possesses high transportability and is intended for the production of commercial products for late consumption.
