The tree has medium vigor and forms a dense conical or rounded crown 3 to 5 meters in height. The fruits are large, spindle-shaped or of classic pear shape, acquiring a carmine-red color with yellowish shades upon full maturity. The white-cream flesh is characterized by high juiciness and a distinct muscat aroma.

The variety is a summer type; the harvest ripens in mid- to late August. The tree is susceptible to scab and fire blight. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of suitable pollinators. The intended use of the fruits is primarily for dessert; they are also suitable for canning, drying, and processing.
