The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 8–12 meters with a crown width of 4–6 meters. The crown has a pyramidal, semi-open shape. The variety is considered resistant to wind and diseases, and adapts well to various types of soil, including loams and clay soils.
The medium-sized fruits have yellow-brown skin, sometimes with a red blush, and sweet flesh. The harvest is gathered in October. The fruits are characterized by good keeping quality, capable of being stored until April, gradually changing color to yellow.
The variety is used primarily as a culinary pear, as the flesh acquires a rich color and pleasant taste when cooked. The question of self-fertility remains debatable, therefore, for a stable yield, the presence of pollinators such as the Gieser Wildeman or Kleipeer varieties is recommended.
