The Eterna variety (Raphanus sativus cv. Eterna) is intended for use in biological research. Its seeds are used in scientific studies on the influence of light, phytochromes, and plant hormones on germinationprocesses, as well as in experiments on the release of reactive oxygen species.
This variety is not a commercial agricultural object for vegetable farming. Agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group, taste qualities, or disease resistance, are absent in reference literature, as the variety is selected to ensure the stability of results under laboratory conditions.
