The variety is historical, known since the late XIX century. The period from sowing to harvest is 18–26 days. The roots have a cylindrical shape 3–6 cm long, bright red skin color, and a characteristic white tip.
The flesh is white, crunchy; in case of failure to maintain the irrigation regime or in hot weather, the roots may become flabby and hollow. The variety is undemanding, shows resistance to bolting, and is suitable for cultivation in open field, plastic greenhouses, and containers.
