The variety belongs to the Raphanus sativus convar. sativus group and is also known under the name Riesenbutter. The plant is characterized by a small leaf apparatus and resistance of root crops to corkiness and rotting.
The vegetation period is about 40–45 days. The variety is suitable for sowing in open field in spring, from March to May, as well as in the second half of summer for autumn harvesting.
