The variety was bred at the Polli Horticultural Research Centre, part of the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Breeding work on the hybrid was conducted from 2009, with final selection made in 2013.
The main distinguishing feature of the variety is the green color of the fruit during the ripening period. The variety underwent testing for winter hardiness and resistance to powdery mildew and anthracnose; however, detailed quantitative growth and yield characteristics are not yet specified in open sources.
