Variety description

10 August 2026

The bush of the «Almo» variety is tall, upright, and produces a large number of shoots. The berries are black, large, with an average weight of about 1.5 g, and are gathered in long clusters of medium density. The detachment of the berries from the cluster is dry and easy.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness and resistance to powdery mildew, and exhibits relative resistance to the blackcurrant gall mite. The berries are distinguished by a high content of anthocyanins and are suitable both for fresh consumption and for various types of processing.
