The variety is a product of the Estonian breeding program. The berries are distinguished by a relatively low weight compared to some other genotypes, while the variety demonstrates a consistently high vitamin C content.

The plant possesses winter hardiness and visual resistance to such pathogens as big bud mite and American gooseberry mildew. The variety is intended for mechanical harvesting and dessert use, and is also actively used in breeding programs as a source of genetic material.
