The variety is a product of breeding by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, obtained by crossing Ben More and Ben Lomond varieties. The plant forms a compact bush about 120 cm tall. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, resistance to powdery mildew and leaf spot, as well as late flowering.
Berries are small to medium in size, uniform, and ripen evenly in clusters. They are distinguished by a high content of vitamin C and anthocyanins. The variety is intended for industrial use, especially for the production of juices and wines, due to high and regular yield.
