The bush is vigorous, spreading, and fast-growing, reaching a height of 1.2–1.8 m. The variety is early-ripening; harvest typically takes place in early July. The berries are large, juicy, and aromatic, with a sweet-sour skin. Overripe fruits are prone to shedding, and their taste may deteriorate.

The variety has high productivity and is self-fertile, although cross-pollination contributes to an increase in berry size. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and various types of processing, including the production of jams, jellies, and freezing.

The plant is demanding regarding soil and climatic conditions, care, and fertilization. The variety is susceptible to anthracnose, while resistance to powdery mildew is noted. Frost resistance is lower than that of several other traditional varieties; planting requires sites protected from strong winds.
