Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is an important genetic material, widely used in breeding programs due to its high resistance to the blackcurrant gall mite (Cecidophyopsis ribis). In studies, the variety did not show symptoms of infestation by this pest.

In modern industrial cultivation, the variety is encountered less frequently than newer breeding forms. It is often mentioned in scientific literature as a parent form for developing new varieties possessing valuable economic traits.
