The plant is vigorous with semi-erect shoots. The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group and possesses good self-fertility. The berries have excellent taste qualities and are suitable for universal use.

The variety is susceptible to blackcurrant reversion virus. Due to its low chilling requirements, it has been widely used in breeding programs to create new varieties adapted to specific growing conditions.
