The variety is the fourth backcross generation from Ribes spicatum. The bush is vigorous, upright, with thick straight shoots. Berries are black, shiny, round in shape, weighing from 1.9 to 4.5 g. Fruits are arranged loosely on long clusters, 10–20 per cluster, and have firm, elastic skin.
The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group, ripens uniformly, and is capable of remaining on the bushes for a long time without shedding. The berries have a sweet and sour taste and dry abscission, suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing. The variety possesses complex resistance to powdery mildew, anthracnose, and septoria leaf spot, but shows insufficient drought tolerance and may be affected by rust in late stages.
