Diamond Jubilee
ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety is a late summer representative of the crop, with a harvest period occurring in July and August. Yield is characterized as high or medium; the medium-sized berries have a dark red color, an attractive shape, and a high level of sugar content.
The bush reaches a height of 1.5–2 meters and a width of 1–1.5 meters. The shoots have a brownish-red coloration due to intense anthocyanin pigment and are covered with many small spines. The bush shape is compact, semi-erect, with characteristic bending of the tips.
The plant possesses high resistance to Phytophthora root rots. The variety is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The plant's white flowers attract bees, which allows it to be used as a honey plant.
