Diamond Jubilee
ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety produces light-colored fruits, ranging from pale yellow to golden upon reaching full maturity. It belongs to the summer-bearing group and is characterized by a tendency for berries to drop quickly after ripening, which requires prompt harvesting.
Historical publications indicated that the variety required winter protection, despite surpassing the variety «Red Antwerp» in winter hardiness. Under modern conditions, the variety is practically never encountered, as it has been replaced by more productive and resistant breeding forms.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
