The variety is a medium-sized bush 150–170 cm in height (sometimes up to 2 m) with good shoot-forming capacity. Young shoots acquire a characteristic wine-red hue in summer; leaves are dark green and slightly wrinkled.
Fruiting occurs on biennial canes in June–July. Berries are medium-sized, rounded, bright light-red in color, with a soft texture and a very sweet, intense flavor.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness down to –25 °C. The variety is a source of genetic resistance to raspberry root rot (Phytophthora rubi).
