The Zefa 2 variety is a summer raspberry with a harvest period occurring in July. The plant forms a bush of medium height. The berries have a round-conical shape and are characterized by a firm consistency, which ensures good transportability of the produce.

The variety is self-fertile. After harvesting is completed, it is recommended to prune the fruiting canes close to the ground level. The variety should be distinguished from everbearing Zefa series forms, such as Zefa 3 or Zefa Herbsternte, which fruit at later dates, starting from August.
