ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The bush is vigorous, reaching a height of 1.5–2.2 meters; shoots are upright or semi-upright, densely covered with spines. Fruiting occurs on biennial canes and begins in late June — early July.
The berries have a broad conical shape, a deep dark red color, and a mass of 4 to 7.3 grams. The flesh is firm and juicy, distinguished by a sweet flavor with a hint of acidity and aroma. The variety is characterized as frost-hardy, showing resistance to Botrytis, powdery mildew, and viral diseases.
The yield of the variety can reach 5–8 kg per bush. The berries tolerate storage and transport well, which makes the variety a benchmark for industrial use, freezing, and juice production.
