The variety was obtained by crossing Cascade Dawn and the WSU 1145 selection. The plant has an upright habit and produces fruit on the previous year's canes, with ripening starting earlier than commercial counterparts like Meeker.
The berries have a conical shape and are distinguished by their large size, firmness, and pronounced gloss. The easy detachment of the fruit from the receptacle makes the variety suitable for commercial production and machine harvesting, while the fruit retains high flavor quality and marketability for the fresh market.
