The variety is a Rubus idaeus raspberry. Its origin is linked to German breeding; genetic research determined that the variety was obtained via open pollination with an unknown male parent. The variety name appears in lists associated with the research facility in Dresden-Pillnitz.

The plant belongs to the group of late-summer varieties, with the main harvest occurring in August. The variety underwent field testing for resistance to cane diseases, however, detailed morphological characteristics and quantitative indicators of resistance or fruit quality are not provided in official publications.
