The plant forms a spreading bush with vigorous flexible canes 2 to 5 meters long, requiring mandatory tying to a trellis. The shoots of this classic variety are covered with thorns. The foliage is decorative, and flowering is accompanied by the appearance of white flowers.
The fruits have an elongated conical shape, with a weight of 5–10 g and a length of 3–5 cm. Upon ripening, the color of the berries changes from bright red to dark purple. The variety is considered early; the harvest period begins in June–July and lasts until August.
Yield ranges from 3 to 6 kg per bush, reaching 10 kg under favorable conditions. The berries are characterized by a sweet-and-sour taste and a distinct aroma, and are suitable for processing and transport. The variety possesses moderate winter hardiness down to -20...-25°C and relative resistance to diseases.
