The plant is a shrub with trailing or climbing vigorous thornless canes, the length of which varies from 1.4 to 6 meters. A key morphological feature is the deeply dissected leaves, which remain green even during the winter period. Flowering occurs later than in many other varieties; the flowers are white with large yellow-green centers.
The variety belongs to the late-ripening group with prolonged fruiting from August to September or October. The berries, weighing 3–5 g, have a rounded or blunt-conical shape and a sweet-and-sour taste. Between 25 and 70 berries can form in a single cluster. The plant has good winter hardiness but requires removal of canes from supports and covering under unfavorable conditions.
The application of the variety includes the use of berries for fresh consumption and culinary processing, as well as the use of the shrub itself in ornamental gardening due to the shape of its foliage. Occasionally, thorny canes may appear on the plants, which should be removed.
