Variety description

The variety is a thornless mutation of the blackberry «Sleeping Beauty». Its complex genetic background involves the species Rubus allegheniensis, R. trivialis, R. argutus, R. ulmifolius, and R. procerus.

The plant has semi-erect, thornless canes. Fruiting on the previous year's canes occurs from mid-May to mid-August.

The fruit are medium to large in size and elliptical-oval in shape. The berries are noted for moderate firmness and suitability for transport; the variety is intended for commercial use in the fresh produce market.
