ActiveRubus L. · Blackberry

The variety is a form of Rubus armeniacus, also known as Himalaya or Himalaya Giant. The plant is vigorous with canes 2 to 4 meters in length, requiring mandatory support or a trellis due to their spreading habit and the presence of thorns.
The fruits are medium-sized, round or conical in shape, and black with a glossy sheen. The berries are distinguished by their juiciness, rich sweet taste, and aroma, but have limited keeping quality.
The variety is late-ripening; fruiting begins in late July and continues until September-October. The shrub is characterized by hardiness, frost resistance after establishment, and disease resistance, and it tolerates pruning well.
