The variety is intended for cultivation for biomass production. It is closely related to the Ashton Stott variety and is classified as a high-productivity form, with an average yield in UK conditions of approximately 13.9 dry tonnes per hectare per year.
A detailed morphological description of the plant is not available in open sources. Specialized data on height or disease resistance have not been recorded, however, general susceptibility to rust is taken into account when managing energy willow plantations.
