Rapp
TerminatedSalix L. · Willow
Stig Larsson
10 August 2026
The variety is a form of Salix viminalis (basket willow). It was intended for the establishment of energy willow plantations for biomass production and for experimental research on the remediation of contaminated soils.
The plant has wavy stems, which reduces the quality of the raw material and complicates mechanized planting. Due to its morphological characteristics and low efficiency compared to later hybrids, the variety is considered obsolete.
