The Lisa variety was obtained as a result of crossing the Tordis and Olof varieties. Its genetic basis combines traits of the species Salix schwerinii and Salix viminalis. In terms of morphological characteristics, the variety is distinguished by a narrow leaf shape, similar to the Tora variety.

The plant belongs to fast-growing species intended for short-rotation forestry for biomass production. The variety demonstrates high yield and adaptability to warm climatic zones. During field trials, high resistance of the variety to leaf rust infection was noted.
