The variety is intended for cultivation in energy plantation systems. Yield studies show that in terms of dry matter output per hectare, the variety is inferior to a number of other energy willow varieties.
Breeding of the variety was carried out within the framework of programs to increase productivity, shoot uprightness, and resistance to pathogens, including leaf rust and pests; however, detailed morphological characteristics and specific resistance data for the variety are limited.
